The Art & Action Network in Greece along with the Police Action for Human Rights and the Youth Network of Migrant origins: “Horizons”, organized a friendly match on 17th of May to honor and celebrate the International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia.
Football is an amazing means for us to unite our voice with everyone who fights against any type of discrimination. We keep on working hard to empower the message that the battle against social inequalities is still ongoing. In this struggle, football operates as the perfect bridge that unites everyone under the same purpose; the empowerment of social cohesion and the participation of every one of us in this endeavor.
The match between AAN F.C. Athens (refugees & migrants) and Police Action for Human Rights had only one winner: The fundamental human rights.
The match took place at the premises of Alepotrypa, Kypseli under the auspices of the city of Athens.
