The Art & Action Network Football Club Athens participated at the Kypseli Mundial, for a second year in row, enjoying two weekends (2-3 & 10-11 May) full of a very competitive football tournament and plenty of cultural events.
Refugee and migrant communities along with affiliated organizations and plenty of locals, gathered up at Alepotrypa, Kypseli, to celebrate once again – just like last year – by playing football, at a very high, competitive level, portraying talent, passion and most importantly, solidarity.
Our team had the pleasure to face two quite strong teams, the Ivory Coast and Cameroon, and certainly enjoyed its participation.
Congratulations to the winners of the Men’s tournament, the Nigerian Team and of course, the winners of the Women’s tournament, Mpalitsa F.C.
You were all spectacular! See you all next year!
